Love is not a bomb.

It's not meant

to blow up in your face

or flood your ears with

its words.

It’s not just somebody saying it

the moment you meet someone.

It’s not someone saying “baby”

and “beautiful” and ”I love you” in one

vague sentence.

It’s not a bunch of words

meant to impress.

It’s a feeling.

It’s something real.

And it’s not exploding like a bomb.

It’s quiet.

It’s unspoken.

It’s a look

that speaks volumes.

It’s a mystery

you don’t care to solve.

It becomes the thing you need.

Not the thing you want.

And it’s not a bomb,

ready to go off.
