Love in an Empty Room

Dance Our Song

Invited to a gathering of others I have walk in the house.

Music took out the crowd away from my pace.

Glancing at the made dance floor,

It was empty and I took hold of it.

I float here where you left me,

My body moves without permission toward your reflection.

Your body is still as it leans within the wall,

The crowd blurs from the corner of my eye.

You muted laughter and voices,

I can't be distracted from your pull.

How do you have this power,

To lead me toward you.

Oh, why I'm coming to you.

I am accepting, interacting, to the trance, of you,

Please pull and shuffle out of my reach.

But you don't, until a swift twitch that you enhance,

It is teasing between us, and oh you let it so.

I dance on the alone floor,

And the only audience, is your eyes.

A nerve of my body gave out of balance,

You see it as an invitation.

There your lean, now becomes a stance,

Towards my direction.

I act to displease you,

For my dream to awake from this.

Until I am not alone on this floor,

And your energy, sings with mine.

I see your movement flashing out,

Blaring out everything.

My body impulse electricity,

As I can't stop the connection.

The room becomes us,

It no longer has me afraid.

Our body is connecting as we let go,

No longer does anything matter.

Now is a dance that we can not stop,

It holds us together internally.

I give in to you, as you let me,

there is nothing to hold back.

I close my eyes for the first time,

letting you enhance my being.

We dance every direction,

Until the is nothing else, to be.
