Love, if you are listening
you are always with me

To pinpoint when, I cannot remember,
that my love for you soared like a rocket.
Told you in the middle of December,
my heart alive, plugged into a socket.
You left so fast without even a blink,
made the choice to remain a mystery.
What I felt mattered more than what I’d think,
I prayed each day that you were missing me.
I’d talk to God, tell Him show me a sign,
do what He can to keep my doubts at bay.
A plane in the sky would mean you’d be mine,
I’d do all I could to make sure you’d stay
Four years have gone by since I’ve seen your face
but when I do, you won’t leave my embrace.
About the Creator
Daniel K
I write love poems about the girl who has a hold over my heart and my life in such a way that neither are my own anymore. The girl I would choose over and over and over again. I love her, and that is the beginning and end of everything.
