Lost in Your Eyes

Poem

By Ocean MyrandaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Lush green forests with a hint of golden sunlight

Pushing further into the brush, into the tangles of vines

Sweet smell of rain, dirt, grass, and nature

Looking for any type of sign

I can see you there, running amongst the trees

As the forest changes to that dark jungle

Calling out to you, please come back to me, please

Don't get lost in your fears, come back

That glint of sunlight flickers

I can see you trying to come back out

You don't have to scared, I won't leave you

Take my hand, trust me, there's no reason to doubt

Let's sit together in the tall sunlit grass

Breathing in that sea breeze, listening to the waves

In your arms, I'm comfortable and time can pass

That's what I see when you look at me
