im locked up

dont loosen my heart

it’s stuck on your notes like a chain gang(chain link)

your shrill, sick, baby

Baby, baby notes,

desire me, desire me

Lock me up.

I’m

already locked up,

and can’t leave.

I’m a plus

And you’re a minus

And I am terrible at maths

You know I am

And you count me out

You toss my jumbled numbers in the air,

You done locked it down.

I’m locked up

My mouth is open

but my eyes are saying a lot more

No one cares

Even if they see it.

Locked up, screaming softly

In minuses and pluses

Zeroes and ones

It calculates to nothing

But im down there, in oblivion

Zeroed out,

Because it was ultimately I who wrought those chains,

Pluses,

Zeroes,

None.
