Little Me

What I'd Tell Myself

By Jessica VarvilPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

Unruly golden waves bouncing,

Grazing her shoulders.

She is unbothered.

Hair untamed,

Needing a good brush.

She shakes her head,

Saying NO.

NOT NOW!

She’s feisty for sure.

She knows best.

In her own mind anyway.

She smiles,

The prominent dimple on her chin gives her character.

Her thin, hot pink lips curl into a gentle grin.

Her ivory sweater exudes sweetness.

What I wish I could tell Little Me…

That it will be alright after all!
