Geo-Logical Reasoning

A Rocky Road

By Jessica VarvilPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

Sliced geodes with intrinsic beauty.

Utilizing a magnifying glass to focus on their rough, dull exteriors.

Ordinary rocks at first glance.

Slicing them open,

Revealing their glittering innards.

Studying the anatomy of the rocks’ bodies,

Appreciating their beauty.

Holding them sacred.

The jewel’s dancing of light.

Forming a dense kaleidoscope of color,

Of organic patterns.

Spiraling and dotting the geodes in a spectacular display.

Precious jewels and minerals line the geodes with raw magnificence.

Emeralds bathing my face in their opulence.

Sapphires playfully bouncing their rays.

Citrine yellow adorning my body.

Casting a warm glow with its golden hue.

Pyrite, clamoring for my attention.

Appearing as gold to those who know nothing.

Amethyst gems soothing my soul,

Achieving inner peace.

These glittering rocks of various shapes and sizes vying for my attention.

I will do my best to balance them all.

These precious geodes of importance.

These examples of geological history.

I now can truly appreciate their mystery.
