Lioness

Transformation

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 3 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

She felt like a lioness

Whenever he made love to her

She became a cat of prey

Strong, powerful and mighty

His kisses made her purr

With rapture

His caresses made her

Rub her sleek body

All over him

Covering him with her

Possessive, musky scent

As if to tell the world,

“He is mine.

I will kill to keep him

Stay away

He is mine.”

She hungered for him

Only desiring to devour his soul

Possessing him in mind and spirit

She also wanted to surrender

To his rampant love

To have him take

Her fear from her

And release the false strength

She pretended to have

Thinking it kept her safe

She was not safe with him

But yet, she was safer than she had ever been

She felt like a lioness

Whenever he made love to her
