Melting poison apple sun
A creation of the heart's

A gift for the Thunder queen
Presiding in an icily anointed palace
Descending daily to greet me from
Clouds dripping with heaps of
Whipped dreamy cream
Piled to a soaring height, down

Vanilla breakfast sky
I rule in her stead
Over the garden of indecision
Snip | ping wretched thorns
From hungry creeping rose buds

Daisies throng and fall before me
Carelessly tossing suckling petals
Frozen tears to skin adhere
Coated in a dusting of golden pollen
𓇢𓇢𓆸 🫧⋆｡˚
Melting blue mountain berries
Portals to pools forming
In my rotating Laser-Disc eyes
Softening in the heat of the
Sunflower blaze
Flames

leaping

Across*compacting*
Ice*creamy*soda*pop*fizz*
Po*pp*in*g *an*d *Fi*zz*in*g
Effervescing six miles high
🫧◌🫧🫧◌🫧
Each grain of
Chrysanthemum-scented wheat
Sunburned to a high gloss shine
Waiting in the wings, toasty and sweet
R_ i _i _g down in a shower

Of maple screams
Drizzling down on me, Puddling
Soaking slowly into the granola sands
Viscous and sweet
Slipping through the gaps
Gusts of wisdom from above
Making the palm fronds
Gush and spring ungloved

Fending off giant dandelion fuzz
Launching from the pendulum
Landing amongst the swampy reeds
Shimmying up the cat's
Stress frayed tail
Riding all the way on
My ninth pass-through
Reality's open gates

Screaming for a pea-sized taste of the
Stack of Fluffy flapjacks and
Apple American pie
Glazed in jealousy, dyed scarlet
A staircase to the icy palace in the sky
To report the day's bouquet
Painting roses with my lies

Argento’s ninth (eighteenth in earth years) Birthday came and went Thursday, the thirteenth, and he’d already received his father’s gift, if you could call it that. You had to commit a fairly serious infraction to be cut off; the Arch-Baron was keeping up appearances and maintaining his own reputation as much as any sense of love or attachment to Argento with his “gift.”

This is some pretty trippy imagery. The descriptions of the sun as a "melting poison apple" and the "garden of indecision" are really vivid. It makes me wonder what inspired you to write this. Were you going for a specific mood or theme? Also, how do you come up with such unique and imaginative ideas for your writing?
