Lilo & Stitches

Lost teddy bear waiting to be brought home.

Lost lonely and afraid,

Misguided and misunderstood,

Mistakes made,

Never forgiven,

Until you forgive yourself,

Framed and used,

Like at a yardsale,

Sewn up and stuffing ripped,

Bursting stitches,

Broken hearted, 25 cent pricetag,

Sitting on the table among others,

Yet still lonely,

Night has fallen and still no one has chosen me,

Until the sun rises again,

I will sit awaiting the next smiling dirty face,

To give me surgery and take me home.
