There is a lilac bush to the side of my house, just a little down the way.
It is a long, narrow path constructed of youthful bramble and lifely hopes.
Wild creatures of the land roam freely in this little trail. Frogs sing the songs of nature just a little down the way at a river nearby.
A haven to all, that gentle lilac bush.
There is a lilac bush I can see from my window.
Nights when the moon’s light illuminates all and a gentle breeze sway that lovely purple dotted bush, its scent travels a little way down the way, up and through my window, hugging me tightly as I lay awake each night deliberating my actions.
Even when not in its presence, it gives to all, that gentle lilac bush.
Off to the side of my bricky, red house
Lays a gently sloping hill with streams that meander their way through,
All meeting at that gentle lilac bush.
An oasis to all.
Purple petals dance around that sweet, green shrub like fairies on an autumn’s full moon.
So warming; so endearing.
A place of rest and ease, that gentle lilac bush.
For,
you see,
There is a lilac bush a little way down the way that fills my days with lovely smells and pleasant sights.
Surely,
for you too,
there is a lilac bush just a little down the way.
