Let it out.

...

By Violet MarchPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Hush now,

Climb.

Make your way from the bed to the shower.

Inch by inch --

Step by agonizing step,

Be on your way now.

Hush now,

Turn.

Let the water flow around you.

Be enveloped by its cleansing mist.

Breathing in the stream,

Let it pierce your lungs,

Let it soothe your body.

It will all be okay from here.

Hush now,

Cry.

Let your tears be taken away.

Flowing with the boiling stream that cradles you,

Be taken by its loving embrace.

It is okay.

Cry.

Let it all out.

Wash your mind as you do your body.

This is your tearful palace that leaves no trace.

One last deep breath,

Turn the knob slowly,

Make your way out the palace.

Get dressed, prepare yourself, your day has just begun.

The hardest part is done.

So, Go now:

Begin.
