Light To Darkness

Waking up in the dark,

I look through my window,

in front of me, death embarks,

I undergo mild vertigo,

as I stare at him,

his body filled with silence to the brim.

He couldn't escape the clutches of doom,

leaving behind the souls he did bloom.

Amidst the cries of desperation,

I seem to ponder over life's uncertainty,

life and death, what an absolute damnation!

And living is an art,

we didn't tried enough,

to be good at it,

from the start.
