Lifeline

A Poem

By George GriffithsPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

When you feel like your head is underwater and you’re trying to breathe

I’ll jump into the deep and help you to swim

Take it day by day; life is not a race.

If you feel lost I’ll be the torch that guides you back, let me be your lifeline.

If you’re lost and life is pulling you in different directions - let me be the one that sets you free.

If it’s pain you’re running from, run to me - there’s no shame in searching for a happy place.

Sit beneath a tree, sit with me, read a book or watch the clouds - I’ve got you.

Lifeline, that’s me.
