Life Isn't All Roses

You Get Accustomed To Thornes

Fighting the crazy

Curbing the storm

Navigating the hazy

Since the day I was born

To old to be gangster

Suburbia life

More like a prankster

Married to struggle and strife

Ya win some you lose some

Keep on moving along

Most days I just feel numb

I may just prove myself wrong

So I write what I’m feeling

You may feel this way too

It helps with the healing

I am living proof

That, when life gets to kicking

Don’t run, stand your ground

You won’t know what your missing

If you don’t hang around

So, enjoy those beautiful roses

Such beauty to behold

Not too hard to handle

Just watch out for the thorns
