Life Is a Journey; Tread It Wisely
Wonderland Poetry Prompt Challenge Day 7
I see a path ahead,
A winding one at that,
A path that I must tread,
Each step will be my own,
Until the day I’m dead.
****
A journey tried and true,
I will meet others on the way,
Knowledge, I will try to pursue,
Kindness and tenderness, I hope to show,
Maybe love with who knows who.
****
And as long as I can hold my head,
When my journey comes to an end,
No regrets about the things I said,
Even fewer about what I’ve done,
My journey will have been true.
****
