How Does My Garden Grow?
Wonderland Poetry Prompt Challenge Day 6

A gardener, I guess I will never be,
I don’t have patience for deep complexity,
I just need a neat garden with symmetry.
----- 🏡🏡🏡 ----
The weeding is a chore, pure necessity,
Where I am it’s such a fruitless, thankless task,
Seems weeds are adapted for longevity.
----- 🏡🏡🏡 ----
Water and feed it, grow plants, is all I ask,
But alas, there is no green thumb on me,
Maybe it’s just an impossible task.
----- 🏡🏡🏡 ----
Some lavender, a shrub, and frangipani,
Green lawn and a white fence to seal my retreat,
The nursery says I’m too close to the sea.
----- 🏡🏡🏡 ----
Despite all the salt air and all of the heat,
It is not half bad when it’s viewed from the street.

Sweet gardening poem… I’m not a gardener either and the sea air wouldn’t help. Interesting to learn of Terza Rima Sonnet poems.
Nicely done on the poem! We need that Gardening Community section, lol. I hate weeding - such a horrible task.
Nice poem🙂👍
