Life in the Fat-Pain

no one to hold

By Rowan Finley Published 3 years ago 1 min read

life in the fast lane

or is life a fat-pain?

squirming to and fro

where am I to go?

slowly, moving somewhere

hoping for something

with someone

who will tolerate me

or maybe even love me

hold me fast

never to betray me

I am not fat

there’s just more to love

more to hold

more to cherish

one day will you look back

and wish you would have

chosen me?

or could I just be

totally

undesirable?

some, I can never have

say

I’m beautiful

so why don’t you see it too?

is this just life in the fat-pain?

let me tell you: you are already enough, already worthy, already lovable, exactly as you are. Don’t let anyone’s lack of vision make you question your own worth. The right ones will always see your beauty—inside and out. Keep shining.✨
