Bearing Arms

A different kind of war at arms length

By Rowan Finley Published 3 years ago 1 min read

Send them to all nations,

and protect their hearts closely.

Thank you for bonding them,

as it is such a rare thing to see.

Blossoming into something beautiful,

they are the aroma of life and liberty.

Proud and thankful from above,

the rain washes them with love.

Lights that are blessed and gracious,

shining through the darkest nights.

Singing through the worst of times,

pressing on through every trial.

Use them to proclaim your name,

as time is shorter and shorter.

Bury every lie that tries to break them,

restore and heal them beyond measure.

They're strong as lions,

and meek as lambs.
