licorice man

~

By Rowan Finley Published about a year ago 1 min read

Once upon a time there was a man made of licorice who was very, very tall.

Everyone else around him felt quite savory, silly and small.

They squawked and as he walked,

because they were afraid he'd squash them to mush.

One day there was a group of children who had a fun idea.

They plotted together and charged at him with greedy eyes.

He was their prize!

They latched on to him, with mouths like piranhas, and ate and ate until he was very short.

And this is why all the little children ran home with licorice bellyaches, to their parents, to give such a report.

Justice is bittersweet… just like black licorice!✨ This made me remind of the movie "The BFG".

  • Hahahaha 🤣, oh he wouldn't last one Saturday night minute in Sweden where licorice is devoured greedily. I love it of course 💓

The poor licorice man!! What a tale for the parents, like they'd believe it, LOL.
