Letters to the Cosmos
A heartfelt story about love, loss, and the light that guides us through the darkest nights.
Letter to a Star
To the brightest star in my darkest nights,
Do you remember that day by the riverside, under the shade of the great tree? The world was so quiet, except for the gentle flow of the water and the soft whispers of the wind. You looked at me with a calm smile and said, "Everyone has a star of their own. A star that shines for them, even when they don't feel like looking up."
Your words have stayed with me, even after all these years. You were my star then, and you remain so now.
I still remember that night. We wandered through the garden, your hand tightly holding mine as we stopped by the lake. The stars above danced on the rippling water, and you laughed, saying, "Look, the stars are performing just for us." In that moment, you weren’t just part of my life—you were the artist painting the ordinary into something magical.
When you left, my world turned gray. It felt as though the night sky lost all its stars. I couldn’t bear to look up. But one evening, with tears in my eyes, I dared to gaze at the heavens again. And there it was—the very star you once pointed out to me.
"I’m still here with you," your voice echoed in the silence of my heart.
You taught me that even when people leave, their love and memories remain, lighting our path like the stars above. You were, and always will be, my brightest guide.
Now, I write letters to you often. I tell you about my days, the people I meet, and the moments that make me laugh or cry. Even though life goes on, every letter somehow ends with you.
I want you to know I’m happy. It’s a happiness you gave me, one that reminds me to seek joy in unexpected places.
Thank you for being my star.
Forever yours,
The one who will always look up for you
