The black and white runes on a page

Tell the story of a life in stage.

Weaving in and weaving out

Through the threads of fate.

For good or for evil some may tout

Though none shall know the road to take

Except the storyteller, the bard, and the sage

Telling lives grand, and lives small

Of people strong and people weak.

Lessons learned and lessons taught

All are students, all are living.

Each one failing to succeed

Each one succeeding to fail

But retaining the love savored

So, with each stroke of the pen,

Or influx of the voice,

Carves many precious gems,

Beyond the worth of gold,

To be remembered for a lifetime.
