Let you go

Should I let you go?
It’s really hard to know
An influence of bad intent
Can leave you a lot to repent
What are you fighting for?
Are you trying to settle a score?
They say revenge is a dish best served cold
So why are you being so bold?
You go where only shadows follow
And you wonder why you feel so hollow
Should I forever wait
Or just increase my gait?
I have a life too
Not to be beholden by you
At the masquerade
Your debt will be paid
But in its place
Another will take your face
Yet I still don’t know
If I should let you go

I have felt this way so often. Loved the read.
You know. You do know, don't you? Loved your poem.
