let me write my thoughts,
let the rumbling lava flow—
or the lid will blow.
As a mother of two small kids, I don’t get to write often or for long stretches of time. Writers hate when ideas vanish and disruption to flow, we all know that.
So, after feeding lunch, impatient to get back to my writing nook, I told my daughter the above verse, which sounded like a haiku. So posting here.

Body Needs Oxygen
be it sun or rain, I will go for a walk— the body needs oxygen. Some people skip walks, giving different issues or weather conditions as excuses. I don’t. Yet if there is wildfire smoke, leaf blower gas fumes, or mulch machines running, I will delay or skip.
