Broken.

Broken like shattered glass,

Scattered shards,

Hopeless.

Hoping for something,

Nothing comes.

What is love?

Is it dangerous?

A feared connection?

Afraid of what?

A mere rejection?

Or something real?

Something true?

Like fearing the feeling of finding a future,

With someone new.

Love is kind,

Let it bloom.

“ fearing the feeling of finding a future” is a hell of a line and great use of alliteration

This is a tender and heartfelt piece, balancing the fragility of love with its hopeful resilience. The imagery of brokenness contrasted with the blossoming of love is beautifully done. A gentle reminder that even in fear, love has the power to heal and grow. Let it bloom indeed!
