The Winter Season

A Winter's Poem

Something's in the air

The cold brisk air

A feeling of joy in the midst of despair

Summer is over

The warm breeze lost

Yet the sun still shines on a glimmering frost

The smell of a woodstove

The taste of peppermint tea

Beautiful lights decorating a tree

Warm hot chocolate

Marshmallows melting

A dad shovels snow and his children are helping

The driveway is clear

Mom looks from the porch

They're out in the snow making angels and forts

A carrot-nosed man with a scarf and a hat

Starts a snowball fight and the whole family laughs

It's a winter wonderland

Powdered white from the storm

Inside by the fire it's cozy and warm

Cheeks rosy and faces red

A winter story is great before bed

The children will sleep

But the snow never rests

The wind roars silently blowing it's breath

Snowflakes fall gently

Autumn is over

Joy fills the air because Christmas is closer

This is winter magic in a nutshell! Snowy fun, cozy fires, and all the Christmas vibes—feels like the perfect holiday hug. Let’s grab cocoa and dive into the snow! :)
