Lessons Learned
Burn You With The Bridge
You said you'd never do it
That you would never put me through it
But your actions couldn't prove it
and you did it anyway
You smiled slightly saying sorry
I'll make it right babe, please don't worry
It brings you pleasure when you fool me
just before your getaway
How many time have we gone through this
Buy the lie, deceived by your kiss
But not again, cause I'm through with this
so, I finally walked away
Now, everybody knows the story
How you tried to sell that you adored me
But being faithful, you cannot be
and I'm not trying to be played
Good luck trying to fool another
We share these red flags with each other
You really are a motherfu**er
go on now, there is nothing left to say

Nice one dear
Good job and this is one way for you or whoever to say 'Get lost.' or just 'Good bye.'
Nice!!! Love the structure of this and the clever rhymes! That last line is perfect! 🤩
