Fellow life-long learner here. I actually can't wait to publish some articles on the iterative process of not just writing but everything. Your last line, "Greatness is learned, not earned." so encapsulates what I'm speed reading right now by Dr. Carol S. Dweck, "Mindset: The New Psychology of Success." You either have a fixed or growth mindset about things, and it's not the same across aspects of one's life. Some people are stuck thinking something like greatness is only for some rather than dedicating the time to become great.
Good job and I hope writing all these rants down helps you in some way. Read and listen to your words also for that may put your rants in a different light.
