Lavender Kisses
His breath traced slow across my skin
a whisper caught where touch begins
fingers curled like secret flames
igniting places with no names
Lavender tangled in the dark
a scent that lingers on my heart
his mouth found edges no one knew
soft promises pulled tight and true
The curve of neck, the hollowed space
where shadows mix with gentle grace
he claimed each inch with patient fire
a slow and deliberate desire
His hands were maps without a plan
exploring depths no words could span
the night held still beneath his gaze
lost in a slow and burning haze
No rush to end, no need to prove
just skin on skin and steady groove
he traced the line where silence slips
and left his mark in lavender lips
When dawn arrived, the scent remained
a heat that runs beneath my veins
his touch a quiet, fierce decree
a secret kept inside of me

What feeling and emotion and there is nothing better than the scent of lavender. I am going to start two or three lavender gardens in the future. Roses, lavender and daffodils are my favorite flowers.
Romantic love, new, is like that!
Phenomenal writing Marie! You flame-broiled this one! 🔥😱
