Your Ocean Song
I love the ripples in the water. You used to talk to me through them. Show me how steady and constant and beautiful your love is. And when the waters are still, so is my heart. How the life in the water has a way of living out its purpose no matter if the waves are high or at rest. How small things will float on the waves if they have no holes. How the sunlight reflects with grandeur off of the water, just as your love is reflected through my very being. Help me to see, again. I take a step forward into the deep, and you're wrapped around me like those songs of rejoicing. The depths is where I find you, and it's where I find me.

Love.
Love. This word. Everyone wants it. One of the shortest words, most simple words, but means the absolute world to everyone on this god-dammed, sad planet. I thought he cared, I thought he “loved” me. Here’s the tragic poem I wrote, I told you it was real. Are you sure you’re ready for this?

"What is Love?"
Dedicated to my beautiful younger sister who has been in love more times than me. 😊 "Love is pain." She said. "It's crying at night because you've found out that the person you love chose infedelity over you. It's feeling a broken heart everyday for weeks after a break up. It's feeling pieces of your heart chip off at the mention of their name. Love is not being able to sleep at night because you miss their arms around you, keeping you warm. Love is pain."
