Though her soul rests leagues away, And I long constantly for her tender kiss, My heart remains joyful every day, For her heartstrings touch me with bliss.

In the heart of dark green Irish moors, Amongst the purple spread of heaths, By the Great Sea, on its sandy shores, Many have seen her in black sheaths.
I am taken by the image of her eternal joy, As I look deeper, I see her perilous fears, I see her never-ending love and her might,
She descended slowly from the heavens, On a starlit night in the misty mountains. She brought flowers in her dark tresses,
She sleeps in perfect peace tonight, As her mind ventures into joyful dreams. Her wit rests easily despite all its might,
I sat there in that evergreen meadow, As I looked at the bluest of streams. The sun’s loving bars left me aglow, As the water made my eyes agleam.
