Kneeling for Love

A Devotion to My Sweetheart’s Heart and Soul

By Shwet Prabha BaiswarPublished about a year ago 1 min read

If she desires, I'll kneel with grace,

Before her eyes, my sacred place.

For in her gaze, the world’s complete,

I'll gladly bow before her feet.

My sweetheart, soft as morning light,

In her embrace, the darkest night

Turns to dawn, her love, my guide,

I’d kneel for her, with endless pride.

No crown I seek, no throne I claim,

For her alone, I bear love’s flame.

To kneel is not to lose or break,

But to give all, for her sweet sake.

Her heart, my compass, pure and true,

There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do.

If kneeling makes her feel adored,

Then I’m her knight, with love my sword.

With head bowed low, yet spirits high,

For her, I’d let the world pass by.

My knees upon the ground may rest,

But in her love, I am my best.
