Kingdom Calls
#3 of 6 I switched this one around a lot, curse you perfectionism and doubt! Hopefully the final product is to your liking, fellow readers. (Message ahead of time, as I write for the other challenges)💬 Please forgive me, those of you whose poems or fiction I have not yet read, I don’t know my knees from my elbow. I am so tired I could request six days straight, of uninterrupted sleep💬. This is for the Falling leaves Challenge the grind must go on. 🙏🏽♥️🤗

I love this line: "Green to red kingdom, send seas." Beautiful work, Caitlin!
You make the colours come alive in just a few lines :-)
Very nice, Caitlin. You are setting a high standard.
Amber, beauty falls is a lovely juxtaposition and matches perfectly with the challenge image below it. The Haiku is a deceptive form, because it is short, the poet must leverage the juxtaposition of different elements to create the desired visual and emotion response in the reader. In this case, to capture the transitive nature of autumn in 17 syllables, which you did. Well done and good luck in the challenge!
Oh my, that second line was soooo brilliant! Loved your poem so much!
Love the imagery of this one Caitlin!!
Love the falling amber beauty🍂
beautifully written
Beautiful! I love how many colors you fit into so few words!
A haiku that allows one to see the colors in the evening. Really like the image for I remember seeing scenes like this in Pennsylvania.
I really like how you call them a kingdom. Makes it so regal 💖
It's beautiful!
Beautiful!
The colours capture it beautifully, Caitlin.
Stunning and interesting haiku and image. Invites contemplation. ❤️
A beautiful haiku, Caitlin, and the image is stunning, with the fall sharply going into winter.
