When Will You Do It?

Tell them to go to bed,

They'll do it when they are ready,

And not before;

Ask them to do chores,

They won't do them at all;

Do they have homework?

We'll do it in six weeks;

Clean their rooms,

One minute equals when they can't see the floor;

Ask them to get ready to go out,

They will do nothing but shout;

Ask them not to moan,

And they let out one big GROAN!

Tell them it's time for lunch,

It will turn into fight time with a punch!

I wonder if they will do it at all,

Instead of having a ball!
