Through the trees,

And through the days.

On the other side of a secretive breeze,

Before they survive the maze.

It’s the lover’s destiny to love,

Oh, and hope that it’s returned.

The dancers are destined to move,

Even if they’re the only ones to hear the tune.

The criers are meant to cry

In tears, shrieks, and sobbing shouts.

As the liars are meant to lie,

In words, hearts, and beds alike.

The missers will forgotten be,

Oh, and that’s no change from above.

Those callers that no one comes to see,

Left death to wander alone.

The warriors are forever fighting,

It’s the one thing they can’t let go.

Yet there’s magic worth sighting,

If they were meant to understand.

Those burning will burn,

Oh, and it’s not a fire worth seeking.

And the vicious wait their turn,

In flames of a different kind.

Don’t dance with the lovers,

Ignore the shriek, call, and clash of swords.

Only he can find the missers,

And strike a match for each and every flame.

His call is the drumbeat of thunder,

Oh, that all hear one day.

Always a favorite subject for those to ponder,

Who do not think in search of answers.

His path, the stones, each step,

Destined to be what they shall be.

Each and every soul wasting prep,

Not knowing that you can’t change…

What the Keeper keeps.

Oh, what the Keeper keeps.
