Keep being good,
and you will see —
your life flood
with happiness.
Not always,
because being
in the wrong place
at the wrong time
can bring doom.
Yet, walking the right path
brings blessings —
sooner or later.
I can say that
as I see the
silhouetted hills,
a silent green valley,
looming mountains,
migratory birds,
leafy sidewalks,
majestic oaks,
fresh air,
and a myriad of flowers,
I feel —
this is what I had hoped for
as I endured
the tough phases.
Destiny will reward
those who
listen to their conscience,
bring positive energy,
spread empathy,
and choose kindness.
