They want to be noticed

i saw my reflection in the window today

she waved, to get my attention

her expression was blank, but she had something to say

about her warped and distorted dimension

i stood there and stared, as she moved her lips

the shape of her face, elongated

her eyes rolled back and she started to strip

i became anxious and very frustrated

as she shed her clothes, i started to laugh

the angles were just too bazaar

i watched in horror, as she ripped in half

and i was hit hard, by a car

as they hauled me away from the horrific scene

i watched as a smile crossed her face

and i realized something completely obscene

she had killed me so she’d take my place

surreal poetry
