an inverse poem about perspective
Everything is just great
Don't try to convince me that
Every waking moment is a struggle and
Things won't ever get better
There is so much to be grateful for
Even if
I go days without sunlight
There is always a rainbow after a storm
And it's not true that
I will never get better
Because
If I just try harder
I will definitely cheer up
And don't you tell me that
I don't stand a chance
I have so much to live for
I have been told that
"It's all in my head" and
"This too shall pass" and
You will never hear me say
I am not okay

Fantastic! That really is a struggle of mental health and perception, one minute you’re feeling the way this poem reflects from top to bottom, but then you may feel down like when reading this poem backwards. I think it’s so common people can alternate between those two feelings. You do an excellent job with this!
