Just Because

Is my life full, I thought it was;

To love somebody, just because.

You have my heart, and it’s key;

You have my love, my body and me.

I need the love, I need the attention;

Is it that really so hard to mention?

For a moment I wept, when my heart was kept;

For a moment it leapt, as off my feet I was swept.

The truth, what it is that hurt;

When suddenly, your feelings convert.

To something never wanted;

To something always feared;

To this my heart broke,

And then my eyes teared.

Is my life empty, I thought it was;

To love somebody, just because.
