When she jumps off the roof
she won't be remembered as the girl who never tried
the girl who preferred being reclusive to the outside world
she'll be remembered as the girl
they wished to give a chance to
now it plays in their mind
if they tried
maybe she would've taken a step back
from jumping
from hurting herself
hurting others
consequences must be a trail to everyone's imperfection
a life lesson to what's truly important and beneficial to everyone
those moments of grace
where stars seemed to sigh
the silence cried louder
she hears more sounds though
she hears love and hope
but she fears it
she fears the pain
To cause it, to confront it
But also to feel it.
Before she jumped
it was a world of indictive hope
a fragile understanding of being
but now she jumped
there's a legacy that swirls
it's a world where she no longer exists
she's more than just a girl;
she's the essence of the worlds
learning from
death
Death, as a new beginning
the end of something old~

haunting musicโฆso poignant and my fave lines are: a fragile understanding of being but now she jumped there's a legacy that swirls it's a world where she no longer exists she's more than just a girl;
amazing
Love never loses. No matter how much we fear the world that has become harsh, no matter how much we tremble at the overwhelming death, no matter how much we beg for isolation, at some point we will take the leap towards the sun and forgive everything. Very good!
Heavy writing, but deeply honest. The music matches very well too. I really love this kind of writing, it reaches deep into the reader. Platitudes like "it gets better" and "stay strong" don't really do much, but if you are in a bad place, you aren't alone. Truly. :) โฅ๏ธ
Wow, this an excellent portrayal poem โฅ๏ธ
this is so sad.
I wish I can jump just like her. I'm so sorry if your poem reflects how you feel. Sending you lots of love and hugs โค๏ธ
An all-too-plausible scenario, as easy as it is painful to imagine! The music echoes and amplifies your work perfectly!
