Jesus

a poem of a child

By Kadee GracePublished about a year ago 1 min read

This is a poem I wrote when I was just a little girl loving Jesus:

Jesus came through the door

and walks across the floor

He reaches out to you

and whispers your name too

He forgives you for your sins

and accepts your Amen's

You regret what you have done

and you know you are His son

You place your hand upon the Book

and you give Him a happy look

He knows that you have won

to be able to be His son

I was in grade school when I wrote this. As I look back, I have to smile about this little poem. To be so young and not really know much; I knew Jesus. Didn't go to a church or anything and yet I still knew Him.
