Jealousy

Jealousy's fire burns with a cold and bright flame,
A shadow cast amidst love's pure light's claim.
Whispers of doubts, feeding on hidden fears,
A poison born from unseen tears.

Beneath its flame, a truth does quietly lie,
A heart that aches with a fearful cry.
In its grip, we seek to find,
The love we fear we'll be left behind.
