does my dog watch
while you fuck my wife
does he look at you lopsided
as you tear apart my life
do you use my towel
after you’ve banged my partner
or do you get a clean one
and bung it in the wash
do you drink my beer
after you rail my missus
i keep it chilled in the fridge
all cold like fake kisses
something to bear in mind though
as you bone my other half
i'm not one given to forgiveness
and it was you that chose this path
think about this
as you let your hands roam
and keep a sharp ear out
cause you won’t hear me come home

Raw as. Why isn't this on the top effing page? Get behind this'un.
So glad you shared this with me!! How utterly fucked up and brilliant at the same time. I'm always impressed at the places you take us with your words. Loved this from you :)
The spiciest slap in the face, and I loved bearing witness to it. Feisty AF, as always, and awesome for it
I agree with Paul on this, those opening two lines are unreal. This is definitely some of your best work!
I just love this, Brenton. I keep picturing a dog watching a huge no-no!😁❤
all cold like fake kisses.....BAM...cause you won't hear me come home. I need the rest of the story, I need the pay back, the bite, the reward from the wound. Great job on getting me fired up
This is fantastic, like a response to the Allman Brothers’ “One Way Out” but feels more personal, and I love how the speaker reclaims control in the last line.
Oh my, Brenton. Your usual approach never fails to amaze. That first line is perhaps the most visceral and beautifully unfiltered opening I've read in a while.
