Infuse frost with a chilled, clear intellect
Immunize it against all writer’s block
Grant it the liberty now to select
A language in which to its strange dreams lock

Let the falling mercury mark its rise
Anthropomorphize it with style and grace
An art form of its own let it devise
Give it an aristocratic, male face

Having made a maker of patterns cold
Watch for signs that this frozen fiction, free
Conjures his works in an idiom bold
The better to stark winter filigree

Breathing personality into frost
Pays beautiful dividends, without cost

Very clever. Almost like these things write themselves. Just need the temperature to drop.
