It Will Soon be Here
First Frost challenge
On our daily walks, Boss the dog and I go about our business,
He is keen on sniffing out scents of interest and prone to impulsiveness.
But I have noticed less dense patches of woods and sun rays have crept in
As the trees, proud of their red and yellow, gold coats began dwindling.
The air is fresh and clean and pure, at least until Boss marks his spots :)
But I know a change is coming soon, as the weatherman has cast his lots!
A freeze is in the forecast, all plants and pets must be secured and warmed.
The birds knew first because around their feeders, they no longer swarmed.
Tomorrow's early morning jaunt must and will no doubt continue...
My breath will smoke out the air I breathe and chilled I'll be to sinew!
Maybe the ground will have a nice crunch and thin white hazy, glaze?
Probably so, but it's always good to start by giving God His praise!
