It's Probably My Fault, But I Don't Care

Things You Won't Hear Me Say

I'm glad I'm not homeless, but I hate my house

it's not where I thought I'd be

I'm committed, but I don't have a spouse

seems love feels the same about me

Abandoned, through choice, circumstance and mistakes

I've even been cut off by my family

I smile to appease you, but my whole body aches

Go ahead and pour that dirt over me

Bury me deep in the back of the yard

Let the weeds take their root

Life shouldn't be so damn hard

And to tell you the truth

Had you told me this was coming

I'd have knocked out your tooth

I missed the sign to start running

From right out of the chute

Let me be....PLEASE, Let me go...

Let the vermin take what's left behind

Can't you see, don't it show

It's official, I've done lost my mind

Please tell me that your family has not cut you out. That ache would simply be too much.

Dear Ki - So witty as per your usual..! I had a lawn mowing business when I was 12 - I got the j.o.b.'s and hired the 'hood kids to do the mowing - the pre-pubescent entrepreneur. Kelli so glad you didn't get caught up in all the blackout Vocal hoopla - very frustrating...! jk.bud.in.l.a.

A torturous personal poem for many. Right to the point, and who hasn’t felt they lost their mind at least once.
