It's Just A Debate

It's just a debate, he’s not causing no harm

you’re just making a fuss, just wasting alarm

after all, a campus is meant for people to learn

its hateful of you to raise such pointless concern

He speaks with a tongue that calls out for death

acid on his words and hate of his breath

violence is the life blood to all his ideals

his fiery words smothers your attempts at appeals

He spits into this world his hate and his drivel

and your meant to stay silent, meant to stay civil

if you argue with him than you’re going down to his level

because it's wrong don’t you see to question the words of a devil

For he claims that he’ll have his opinion, and I can keep mine

and at the end of the day, if we’re all civil it's fine

but his opinion is hateful his opinion is terror

yet calling it out will make you deemed the error

For its just a debate, it's really not that deep

and you wouldn’t cause such a fuss if you weren’t such a sheep

why can’t you just stay silence, why can’t you be polite

while you watch as his words cause their hate to alight
