It’s all over now

No turning back, it’s goodbye

It’s all over now

Just walk away, don’t look back.

Forget what we had, no need to chat.

You did the dirty,

now don’t come telling me you were wrong,

you just want me. You broke the trust,

then played it cool.

Thought I’d stay quiet, play the fool.

Now you’re creeping back,

all soft and slow.

The past is clear, I’m moving on.

You had your chance, you threw it away.

Lied to my face, then ran astray.

Now here you are with sorry eyes.

I’ve seen through every sweet disguise.

Don’t try and twist the mess you made.

You played your game, watched me fade.

Now you pretend you still care.

Love like that was never fair.

I built myself from what you crushed.

I found my strength, I have moved on.

You lost me then, not now.

Sorry, that’s the truth.

No going back, to our second youth.

So walk on fast, don’t leave a trace.

Don’t turn around, don’t show your face.

Whatever we were is dead and done.

I’m not the fool who thought you’d won.
