IT’S ALL IN THE STARS
Hidden magic
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
Tarot cards and twinkling stars and glowing crystal balls,
Psychic fairs and psychopaths and images on the wall.
*
Sleek black cats and flying bats and tasty loving potions,
Amulets and gold trinkets and brews and other notions.
*
Palm readers and sooth seers, spells and incantations,
Witch’s pots and Salem’s lots cause frightening sensations.
*
It’s difficult understanding occult and practicing your craft;
Some aren’t kind, say you’ve lost your mind and consider you quite daft.
*
Behind me they’ll sneak, and in private they’ll speak of a magic they don’t understand.
They never knew; it’s not like voodoo, and don’t right, won’t hurt any man.
*
So, in front of my candle, I’ll hold my broom handle and practice to my heart’s delight.
It that makes me a witch, then I really can’t twitch – I only do THAT at night!!
