
Is it black and blue? Do you see it too?
Am I bruised and battered? As if it really mattered.
Is it gold and white? Full of riches and light?
Life, like this dress, is a confusing mess.
How do you see colour? What hue is it to you?
How do you see life? Is it good or filled with strife?
We see what we see, we see differently.
We can’t all agree. We fight, you and me.
So why don’t we agree, for now, that it’s purples and pinks?
And try to understand what the other person thinks.
WE ARE ALL COLOUR BLIND.
At least we should be.
